West Indies swashbuckling opener Chris Gayle, who is known for living a chilled-out life off the pitch, has already left his mark and is on an exploring spree after the West Indies superstar landed in Sydney to prepare for the ICC World Cup 2015.
Following his arrival in Australia, Gayle posted snaps on social media of visiting stadium Australia shortly after touching down, cheering on the Socceroos as they won the Asian Cup final, exploring Darling Harbour and Bondi Beach and, of course, the inside of some nightclubs, News.com.au reported.
West Indies will open their World Cup campaign against Ireland on February 16 at Saxton Field in Nelson. Going into the tournament, one will not give the Caribbean side too much a chance to win, given their disgraceful performance in the series against South Africa.
Gayle himself has been in very poor form in ODIs and will be keen to fire and give West Indies a good shot during the ICC World Cup 2015.
